The Prodigy // V Festival 2008

I came across this video a couple of days ago. It's a recording of The Prodigy's performance at V(irgin) Festival last summer (UK, Chelmsford/Staffordshire). The group isn't what it was in the mid and late 1990's anymore. Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim Reality have become older.. maybe a little too old for this. They sound different and they're less energetic then they were before.. Nevertheless, their music still rocks! Tracks like Breathe, Firestarter and Voodoo People remain excellent, smashing and prodigious toppers.

In March, the band will release a new album titled "Invaders Must Die". It's co-produced by James Rushent from Does It Offend You, Yeah? and comes with a guest appearance of Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl. Some tracks you can already find at their myspace, where you can also watch the video of Omen.

Tracklist (video)
  1. World's On Fire
  2. Breathe
  3. Spitfire
  4. Firestarter
  5. Voodoo People
