Over the last months, Mumbai Science has been releasing three consecutive digital EP's in which you can recognise psychedelic 90's trance sounds, Detroit techno rhythms, acid bass lines and new beat vocal stabs. As much as you can feel influences from older dance records, the duo beautifully succeeded to keep everything fresh, thereby pushing and breaking the boundaries of contemporary dance music. Four months later, the guys are set to release a Unified Theory limited edition picture disc, featuring four tracks, the highlights from all three Unified Theory EP's: Researchers, Reality, Alchemy & Transcendence. The artwork is pretty clever. Each part portrays one of the three Hindu Gods of Creation. The first one shows Brahma, the creator of this material universe. Next is Vishnu, the preserver and Part 3 depicts Shiva, the destroyer. The disc shows the 3 gods in a circle, symbolizing the never-ending cycle of life. Picture disc out on April 2nd.
