Hermanos Inglesos // Mastermind EP

Real life brothers Cedric & Didier Engels aka Hermanos Inglesos are not only united in blood but also in musical taste. They are not ashamed to wear their influences on their sleeves. Belgium has a great tradition in electronic music, clubbing & bringing forth influential dj's. From the R&S label & the groundbreaking club Boccaccio, to Eskimo Recordings and Culture Club. Hermanos Inglesos sucked it all in and made it their own, with eclectic dj-sets including their own edits, remixes & tracks as a result. Last year these Culture Club residents signed a record deal and released a few successful EP's and remixes. Now they just finished their full album, to be released in the beginning of 2010, with Mastermind as first single. Expectations are sky high...

Nid and Sancy // Kidzz (video)

Official video for Belgian Electro-punk duo Nid & Sancy's Kidzz. The clip was directed by Seth Shukovsky (Little Red Robot) in San Francisco & was made in collaboration with Merlin Bronques (LastNightsParty), one of my favorite party photographers.

Nid & Sancy // Kidzz [Skyve Reuter rmx] (video)

Thomas Van Quaelle aka Kwallie came to the idea of making a videoclip for the Skyve Reuter rerub of Nid & Sancy's Kidzz. He started with a collection of old fashioned advertising videos, jumbled parts of them together and came to the clip above as a remarkable result. There also is another video for this remix, made by VJ Rewind (CactusClub). He melted several flashy shots into a fast video mix, which you can find here.

Bart Demey and Tania Gallagher - better known as Nid & Sancy - are a Belgian electropunk duo based in Ghent. They produce filthy electronic beats on top of which they play their loud guitars, analog synths and screaming dirty vocals. You may also know them from So where's your acid, brothers?; What you want, what you get; No fuck all; Fucking machines or Wht lghts flshng, to name some of their best ones. And if you haven't done it before, I definitely recommend you to attend a live performance of this cool duo. It's like.. stepping into a big great rollercoaster, being amazed during the whole ride and then step out and say "Wow!".
